Cancellations and refunds: Life happens and sometimes lessons have to be rearranged, but that does not make cancelled lessons any less frustrating! With this in mind, my cancellation policy has been written to ensure that students have a reasonable degree of flexibility, but that I am protected against last minute change-of-plans or “bail outs”! Refunds are at my discretion, and will be treated on a case by case basis. Generally, students can rebook a lesson any time up to 48 hours before the lesson for free, but any lessons cancelled within 48 hours of the start time will be charged 100% of the total lesson fee. Any less time does not allow me, or my students, to re-arrange our affairs to incorporate your change of plans. My timetable is online and is therefore always available for consultation. Any lessons that are cancelled on the day or after the start of the lesson or where the student never informs me that a lesson could not take place, will again be charged full price. If a lesson is booked and the student does not attend the lesson, I will wait for 15 minutes before cancelling the lesson. Cancellation/re-booking of a lesson MORE than 48hrs prior to that scheduled lesson: 0% forfeit of lesson fee. Cancellation/re-booking of a lesson LESS than 48hrs prior to that scheduled lesson: 100% forfeit of lesson fee. Minimum lesson is 1hr (or part thereof) and multiple lessons should be booked weekly not fortnightly. Block bookings: The statutory 14 day “cooling off” period is in effect from the day of purchase. Refunds within the statutory period are calculated pro-rata and may be subject to a cancellation fee. Thank you. NB: Refunds for cancellations/postponements are at my discretion. 3 or more consecutive postponements or cancellations will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
