Design and Technology Association Masterclass with Seymour Powell
Design and Technology Association Masterclass with Jude Pullen
Hi, I’m Jeremy and I'm a UK qualified teacher of Design & Technology.

As an undergraduate student I completed my Batchelor’s degree in Graphic Design (Level 6) at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). I later completed a conversion degree in Design & Technology and then a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the Master’s level (Level 7) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

I teach the British Curriculum, as it is one of the most well-known and highly-regarded curricula in the world of international education. Schools from Madrid to Manila choose the British Curriculum because they see it as the best choice for providing their students with a first-class education. Parents from around the world seek out British schools, and British tutors, to prepare their children for success at British universities and beyond.

I can help your child:
  • To develop a clear understanding of the requirements of GCSE, IGCSE and A Level Design and Technology.

  • By providing the structure, content and methods of becoming an effective student, as they will learn how to combine practical knowledge, academic content and practical techniques as appropriate preparation for the NEA and exams.

  • By preparing and guiding them through their NEA.

  • Through providing effective delivery of theoretical content and revision techniques.

  • By supporting and encouraging them to work independently within the iterative/user centred design process.

Certificate in Education (PGCE)

UK Qualified Teacher

(Reg: 0936327)

Design and technology prepares pupils to participate in tomorrow's rapidly changing technologies. They learn to think and intervene creatively to improve quality of life. The subject calls for pupils to become autonomous and creative problem-solvers, as individuals and members of a team. They must look for needs, wants and opportunities and respond to them by developing a range of ideas and making products and systems. They combine practical skills with an understanding of aesthetics, social and environmental issues, function and industrial practices. As they do so, they reflect on and evaluate present and past design and technology, its uses and effects. Through design and technology, all pupils can become discriminating and informed users of products, and become innovators.

Booking Pathway

For example if you wanted lessons for a GCSE student:

  1. Book a FREE chat with me.

  2. Register and Logon.

  3. Book a SINGLE lesson with me:

  4. Then, if that goes well, book a package of lessons.
Either a package of 4, 10 or 20 Lessons. Ie: If you want to book 4 lessons at a time:

  5. Once you've bought a package of lessons, those then sit in your "bank" waiting to be booked. You can either book them all at once or one at a time.

  6. Then click on the Book a Lesson link in the top menu.

  7. Choose the lesson booking button that corresponds to the package you have bought. Ie: if you have bought the 4 lesson package then click on the IGCSE/GCSE - 4 lesson package link.

  8. This will take you to a bookings page where you can choose a date and time.

  9. Confirm your booking and then start the process again at no.6.

  10. You can pre-book all your lessons - thereby capturing a consistent time and date or book them in an ad hoc fashion.
